born in alabama, kwest started traveling soon after highschool, with her art and music always close by, she found herself partial to the street artists and performers of New Orleans, who helped make the city so colorful and lively. constantly sketching musicians around town and at different venues she found herself selling the drawings and ink illustrations to the crowd as well as to the performing musicians. befriending many of those musicians and artists early on who have chosen this artistic free-lance lifestyle has played a keen role in influencing her undying love of pursuing her passion, and encouraging others to do the same, whatever that passion may be.. -be the change you want to see
